The reconstruction and expansion project of Urumqi Airport is a key airport construction project in the "The 13th Five-Year Plan" and "The 14th Five-Year Plan" of China, and also a key construction project in the field of infrastructure to make up for the shortcomings in western China. The project is planned to invest more than 52 billion yuan. The airport zone is the highest 4F level. It is the first hub airport PPP project in China and the largest airport PPP project in China.
